Marion Men Charged With Growing Pot in Their Home

Nineteen-year-old Marion resident Robert Kaiser and 18-year-old Gilliat Dean were arrested at his home on Bentley Drive for allegedly growing marijuana, in addition to four other charges.

On March 24, Kaiser and Dean were charged with was charged with possession of a controlled substance, manufacturing marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, a drug tax stamp violation and holding a disorderly house.

Manufacturing marijuana is a Class "B" felony.

March 23

Riley Jeffrey Odean, 21, 474 IDA Drive, Marion, was charged with driving with a suspended license at the 700 block of 26th Street.

Cassandra Madison Forester, 18, Cedar Rapids, was charged with holding a disorderly house, possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of prescription drugs, at 835 Bentley Drive.

Gilliat Alex Dean, 18, 865 Bentley Drive, Marion, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, manufacturing marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, a drug tax stamp violation and holding a disorderly house, at 865 Bentley Drive.

Andrew Nicholas Rosa-Aguilar, 20, Cedar Rapids, was charged with assault without intent to injure, at 3050 Ninth Street.

March 24

Kara Lea Dorman, 31, Cedar Rapids, was charged with driving while drugged/intoxicated at the corner of Indian Creek Road and Stone Creek Court.

Tracy Marie Turner, 23, Anamosa, was charged with a violation of a no contact order due to domestic abuse, at 3270 Eighth Street.

March 25

Lyle Christopher Scot Chapkan, was charged with domestic assault causing serious injury and/or mental illness. at 1320 10th Avenue.

Bryan Leigh Herrold, 44, 119 Southview Drive, Marion, was charged with public consumption/intoxication and interference with official acts, at 119 Southview Drive.

Glenn Allan Pike, 51, Cedar Rapids, was charged with assault, at 1968 Apache Drive.

Blake Steven Eldridge, 21, 1540 Fifth Avenue, Marion, was charged with harassment of a public official at 1960 First Street.

Adam Edward Meyer, 3045 Third Avenue, Marion, was charged with driving while intoxicated/drugged, first offense, at 3045 Third Avenue.

Taylor Michael Chessel, 18, Springville, was charged with driving with a suspended license and not having proof of insurance, at 10th Street and Indian Creek Road.
