Marion Police: Seven Arrested for OWI in One Week

According to Marion Police, seven were arrested and charged with an OWI in a week's time.

Marion Police have said they arrested and charged seven people charged with OWIs between June 8 and June 14. 

Caitlyn Christine Sagon, 22, Watkins, was charged June 12 with an OWI, first offense and failure to maintain control, at the 1000 block of Parkview Drive.

Richard Dale Alato, 48, 1385 Medowview Drive, Marion, was charged June 12 with an OWI, third offense, driving with a suspended license and not providing proof of insurance, not accident related, at the 1300 block of Medowview Drive.

Alexander Robert Hoffman, 23, Merrimac, was charged June 10 with an OWI, first offense, speeding and driving without registration, at 3600 Highway 151.

Joshua David McKay, 21, Cedar Rapids, was charged June 14 with an OWI, first offense and speeding, at the 2900 block of Alburnett Road.

Ruben Spencer Ginger, 39, Cedar Rapids, was charged June 10 with an OWI, third offense, driving with a suspended license and not having proof of insurance, not accident related, at the 100 block of Southview Drive.

Deania Marie Schuler, 21, 2395 24th Street, Marion, was charged with driving while drugged/drunk, first offense, an open container violation, at 1400 block of Medowview Drive.

Brent Allen Hacker, 24, Cedar Rapids, was charged June 9 with driving while drunk/intoxicated, at the corner of First Avenue and 26th Street.
