No. 3 Iowa Hawkeyes seek revenge against the No. 1 Penn State Nittany Lions tonight at Carver-Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City.

The wrestling squads square off beginning at 8 p.m. on Friday at Carver-Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City. All 15,000-plus seats should be filled.

Iowa is the traditional powerhouse in college wrestling with more championship years than many people have been alive, but last year the Hawkeyes fell to the eventual national champion Nittany Lions.

Penn State meanwhile is the new bullies on the block, led by coach Cael Sanderson, a wrestling legend in his own right.

The dual features some of the top talent in NCAA wrestling, up and down the card.

Marion native and two-time NCAA champion Matt McDonough, wrestling at 125 pounds for Iowa, is ranked No. 1 in the country and is scheduled to face the nation's No. 2 wrestler at that weight, Nico Megaludis for Penn State.

Iowa has one loss on the year, and that was to Oklahoma State, while Penn State is a perfect 8-0.
