The Best Pizza In Marion

In a town of approximately 35,000, Marion has 10 pizza places. Which pie reigns supreme?

Pizza is more American than Ronald Reagan eating an apple pie in the backseat of a Hummer.

That explains why, in a city of around 35,000, Marion has 10 Pizza places.

We have everything from local favorites, like Zoey'spopular Chicago style deep dish, to Tomaso's Pizza delectable Detroit style pie and Michello's Pizzeria's specialty pizzas, to popular chains, like Domino's, Pizza Hut and Pizza Ranch.

Personally, I have a fondness for Tomaso's Detroit style pizza and Zoey's Chicago style.

But taste differs person to person, which begs the question, which pizza place is best?

I had a feeling Zoey's would win out.

Well, when does voting close? I just voted, and I think I pushed Tomaso's over the top.

I voted for Tomaso's! But, I've never heard of Michello's; will have to find that place and try it out. No chains should win ...

I'm keeping polling open indefinitely.

I actually haven't been to Michello's either, though I have heard good things, so I might put that on my to-do list this week. It's located right on Seventh Ave. and Eighth Street, across the street from El Perico.
