Cedar River Atrisans Exhibit

September 10th marks the opening a new exhibit in the Lowe Park Arts and Environment Center art gallery.  The works of six artists, who have banded together as the Cedar River Artisans, will be in the gallery until November 2nd.  The works include paintings, prints, sculptures, mixed media, fiber art and ceramics.  The artists include: Bryan Davis, Dean Dunkel, Michelle Fischer, Nancy Lindsay, Tom Nugent and Elizabeth Rhoads Read.
The artist’s reception and gallery talk will be held Thursday evening, September 13th, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.  Come join us and meet the Cedar River Artisans!  Light refreshments will be served.

Lowe Park Arts and Environmental Center features a new building that houses the Parks and Recreation offices. The park itself which is located outside of downtown Marion encompasses 180 Acres and 1.25 miles of surface trail. The center features rooms that can be reserved for use by the general public.
