Free Home Buyer Education Classes Coming to Cedar Rapids, June 4
Free Home Buyer Education Sessions will be offered to the public June 4.
The Iowa Finance Authority (IFA), Iowa Association of REALTORS®, Iowa Home Ownership Education Project (IHOEP) and the Cedar Rapids Area Association of REALTORS® are partnering to bring Cedar Rapids area home buyers free educational sessions. The seminar entitled, Free Home Buyer Education Series: Unique Iowa Programs & Information to Get You Started, will be held in Cedar Rapids on Tuesday, June 4, and is free to the public.
Program topics include state mortgage and down payment assistance programs, information on the benefits of owning a home and the necessary steps on how to begin the home buying process. IFA staff members and housing counselors will be on hand to answer questions. The seminar is hosted by the Cedar Rapids Area Association of REALTORS® and will be held at Wells Fargo, 1800 1st Avenue NE.
The program will be offered at two times: 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Home buyers may attend either session. Please RSVP at IowaFinanceAuthority.gov/Registration.
