Here's a list of five essential things going on this week.

School Board Meetings 

  • Both the Linn-Mar School District and the Marion Independent School district will hold meetings on Monday. Marion Independent will have a work session at 4:30 p.m. in the board room of . The Linn-Mar School District will hold a work session Monday at 5 p.m. with the formal session following at 7 p.m. in the Linn-Mar Learning Resource Center. They will discuss the Linn-Mar pool project alongside proposed summer construction projects.

Government Meetings

  • The Board of Trustees for Marion Municipal Water Department will hold a regular meeting Tuesday, starting at 5:15 p.m. in , where they will be adopting the 2012 budget. The Marion Park Board will hold a meeting this Wednesday in at 4 p.m.
