Weather Alert: Freeze Warning Announced for Marion

The National Weather Service warns that Marion could see freezing temperatures overnight, which could mean the end of some of our fair city's prettier plants.

Despite temperatures that rise and fall like the tides, Marion has so far avoided its first frost.

According to the National Weather Service, that will likely end tonight. The weather service has announced a hazardous weather outlook for Marion. Temperatures could dip to 27 degrees.

That means that plants sensitive to frost could be in trouble tonight. If you're concerned about some of your prettier vegetation, be sure to cover them up.
