4. An Ankeny man charged with involuntary manslaughter for accidentally shooting his daughter in June is scheduled to go to trial in September. Scott Hazelbaker, 51, was charged with involuntary manslaughter and assault causing serious injury. He told police that he didn't know his handgun was loaded when he pointed it at his 18-year-old daughter Emily Hazelbaker and pulled the trigger.
