Marion Weather Forecast: Ready for Winter? Freezing Temps This Week

The National Weather Services predicts temperatures will dip into the teens this week.

Did you enjoy the warm weekend?

It was warm enough on Saturday to grab a cone from Dairy Queen or think about taking a dip at the pool or hit the park.

Unfortunately, it will not last, according to the National Weather Service.

The temperature could drop to 16 degrees over night tonight. That should be as cold as it gets this week though, according to the seven-day forecast.

During the day today, the high is only expected to reach 34 degrees, and could feel cooler with winds from the west as high as 30 mph. Overnight, is the low point this week, dipping to 16 degrees.

Tuesday, should be sunny and around 42 degrees, and an overnight temperature again below freezing at 27 degrees.

By Wednesday, the chill should subside. 

Wednesday through Saturday the day times are expected to be sunny with temperatures in the high 40s or low 50s, and the overnights should be in the 30s but not below freezing.
