Marion Weather: Hold On, It'll Be Bitterly Cold Today, But a Better Forecast is On the Way

Sure it's -2 degrees right now, but Iowa's weather is just crazy enough to jump 30 degrees in the right direction this week.

Things are looking up for weather this coming week.

Sure there isn't a lot of hope when the National Weather Service says today's windchill could hit -5 degrees:

  • Today: Mostly sunny, with a high near 13. Wind chill values as low as -5. West wind 5 to 10 mph.
  • Tonight: Scattered flurries. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 8. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

But do not abandon hope for the weather getting better, as the weather forecast for this week is a gradual warming trend, with a high near 25 degrees tomorrow (almost double today's projected high temp of 13 degrees) and that trend continuing to the mid 30s by Sunday and Monday. There are chances for snow Thursday and Friday.
