United and Delta Flights Cancelled, No Night Classes at Kirkwood: Winter Storm Q Delays/Cancellations for Marion and Linn County

Update: 3:34 p.m.

From Eastern Iowa Airport:

United has canceled its LAST arriving flights of the day (10 pm and after) and therefore its FIRST departing flights of the morning tomorrow (they are the same plane). Delta has also canceled its LAST flight from Atlanta tonight (8:16 pm) and FIRST Atlanta departure in the morning. We anticipate this being the trend with United, Delta, and American. Note that Allegiant tends to indefinately delay flights since they do not offer daily service.

Artists' Reception at Lowe Park for tonight has been rescheduled to Thursday, February 28, 6:30-8:00PM

Marion Chamber of Commerce: PM Exchange at Bankers Trust has been postponed until next Thursday, Feb. 28 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.

Marion Public Library: SCORE workshop this evening has been cancelled due to weather reports.
