Not every high school and junior high school student feels the need to read after their homework is done, but for those who do, this represents a good opportunity to meet others with similar interests at the . Plus, there is pizza and prizes. Come at 9:30 a.m. on any of the above dates.

    Another reading program, but this time for the little ones. Kids from 3 years through the fifth grade can come and start reading today. For every one and a half hours that you spend reading and taking part in other activities, you can come into the Marion Public Library and choose a prize

    Exactly what it sounds like. Come to the Marion Public Library from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. to join others in word games. Anyone can come, and it's free. For those who don't know what Scrabble is, it is like Words With Friends, except in real life.
