Exhibit: Faces of Man and Nature

December Gallery Exhibit-Faces of Man and Nature by Fred Hardiman

Mr. Hardiman, originally from Indiana, came to the Cedar Rapids/Marion area after college and found his home here.  He has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Drake University and was a commercial artist for over thirty years. Most of his career was spent at Rockwell/Collins in the Graphic Services Department.

Fred has been creating his own works of art since his time in college. Over the years he has created many works on a commission basis plus he has an extensive personal collection. Mr. Hardiman works in various styles and media, as can been seen by his works in the Lowe Center exhibit. His favorite media is wood sculpting but his collection also includes acrylic paintings and pencil drawings.
