Bad Weather for Memorial Day Weekend in Marion? Thunderstorm and Heat Index Warnings Issued

The National Weather Service has announced a hazardous weather outlook for that spans today to next Wednesday.

That means we might another round of thunderstorms this afternoon and night. The night thunderstorms may come with heavy rainfall.

The possibility for thunderstorms will be returning Sunday and may last until Thursday, though it's apparently too early to tell if next week's storms will be severe.

But there's more.

The National Weather Service is also issuing a warning for high temperatures over Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures in Marion are expected to reach 93 degrees on Sunday.
