Will it Be Sunshine or Thunderstorms this Weekend in Marion?

According to the National Weather Service, there's a chance for thunderstorms on two days this weekend.

As we get used to the idea of summer, we come to expect the sun to shine every day, but deep down, we know that there's always a possibility things can take a for the worse.

And that also describes the forcasted weekend weather by the National Weather Service: It could be nice, but we don't know for sure.

The National Weather service calls for a slight possibility of thunderstorms tonight, Saturday night and sunday night.

The "slight chance" means a 20 percent chance of thunderstorms today and Saturday, in addition to a 30 percent chance of thunderstorms on Sunday.

The good news is if you take away the possiblity of thunderstorms this weeked may be quite lovely. Today and Saturday will be partly cloudy with highs in the lower 70s and upper 60s, while Sunday should be sunny with a high of 81.
