6. A Marion family coped with the loss of a daughter and sister over the Thanksgiving holiday. The young woman, Kelley McLaren, who was passionate about dance and people, lost her life in a car crash a week ago on Sunday.

5. Waukee leaders are planning to build an amphitheater. The proposed entertainment venue in Centennial Park, is the Waukke Leadership Institute's class project and could cost approximately $150,000 to build.
