(Interactive Map): Where do Alleged Violent Crimes Take Place in Marion?

Each violent crime charged by the  in the month of April has been plotted on the above map.

Each blue dot represents one charge — click on the dot to see which alleged violent crime took place.

If you go through the map, you'll notice the vast majority of the charges are related to domestic assault. Seven of the ten violent crime charges are domestic assault causing serious injury or mental illness.

It's also interesting to note that, unlike we've released, there are no specific neighborhoods that see more violent crime charges. As you probably noticed at first glance, the charges are very far spread apart.
