Marion Police Say No Incidents Reported on Halloween

Halloween night was quiet, said an official from the Marion Police Department.

As of 9 p.m. Monday, Marion Police Department Dispatcher Misty Eanmilligan said no serious incidents occurred on Halloween night.

That's good news for three-year-old Connor Meader, who enjoyed a safe night of filling his bag of candy while dressed as tiny Spiderman.

Meader was trick-or-treating in the southeastern side of Marion alongside his father, Ken Meader, 30, and Kara Klima, 30, of Cedar Rapids. Klina, who grew up in Marion, added that she didn't see very many trick-or-treaters that night, which she said is typical for that side of town.
