Maybe you were so sick of the incessant caucus coverage by every media outlet in the country, so you took a week of reading the news. Here's what you might have missed.

According to the Des Moines Register bankruptcies in Iowa are on the decline. Though this sounds like unequivocally good news, some bankruptcy attorneys are warning that this may be a temporary dip, rather than a sign of complete recovery.

KCRG reported that a barn fire erupted in Marion on Saturday night. The barn on Prairie Chapel Road was completely destroyed, but officials say no one had been hurt.

According to The Gazette, many are calling for the firing of University of Iowa journalism professor, Stephen Bloom, after his controversial Atlantic article, which many said was overly critical and harsh on the Hawkeye State.
