How Much Snow Will We See in Marion?

The National Weather Service is calling for additional snowfall in Marion today and has posted a hazardous weather outlook.

Despite yesterday's blissful 49 degrees high and my highest hopes, the National Weather Service is calling for up to 3 inches of snow today.

According to the National Weather Service's seven-day forecast, Marion should be expecting rain in the mid afternoon, which should turn into a snowfall with an accumulation of up to an inch. Two inches of additional snow may fall later tonight, as well.

A hazardous weather outlook for east-central Iowa has also been posted by the National Weather Service, warning of potentially slick roadways as snow accumulates later tonight.
