Drugs and Alcohol in Marion: 15 Related Charges in Less Than Two Weeks

In a two-week period, 15 people were charged by the for alcohol or drug related offenses.

The following individuals were charged in the two weeks between April 13 and April 24.

Drinking/Drugged Driving

Charles David Potter, 33, 1950 East Post Road, was charged April 15 with driving while intoxicated/drugged, first offense, at the 500 block of 11th Street.

Michael Douglas Clima, 31, Center Point, was charged with driving while intoxicated/drugged, second offense, failure to yield to a 10-33 vehicle and failure to use headlamps, at the corner of Highway 13 and East Kacena Avenue.

Thomas Allen Farris, 19, Scotch Grove, was charged April 14 with driving with a suspended license, failure to use safety belts and possession of alcohol under age at the 1800 block of Seventh Avenue.

Shawn Marie Bolden, 50, Cedar Rapids, was charged April 19 with driving while drugged/intoxicated, third offense, at 400 Echo Hill Road.

Antoinette Lashawn Madlock, 35, Waterloo, was charged April 25 with driving with a barred license, habitual offender and possession of a controlled substance, at 340 Marion Boulevard.

Tracy Lyn Tomkins, 44, 2550 24th Street, Marion, was charged with driving while drugged/intoxicated, second offense, driving with a revoked license and not having proof of insurance, not accident related at 2550 24th Street.

Victoria A Tolsma, 50, 840 Keys Court, Marion, was charged with driving while intoxicated/drugged, first offense, careless driving, improper use of lanes, failure to yield to a 10 33 vehicle and interference with official acts, at the 600 block of 10th Street.

Possession

Zachary Michael Russel, 23, 690 Bentley Drive, Marion, was charged April 16 with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia at 690 Bentley Drive.

Kyle Wesley Shannon, 25, 690 Bentley Drive, Marion, was charged April 16with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, at 690 Bentley Drive.

Emily Anne Kehoe, 20, 1270 Maplecrest Drive, Marion, was charged April 20 with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of prescription drugs, failure to obey stop sign and possession of alcohol under age.

Thomas Arthur Coyle, 22, 690 Bentley Drive, Marion, was charged April 16 with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, at 690 Bentley Drive.

Public Consumption

Joel Michael Goldsberry, 25, Cedar Rapids, was charged April 15 with public consumption/intoxication, at 3911 Katz Drive.

Ryan Andrew Hardman, 23, 3175 Fifth Street, Marion, was charged April 13 with public consumption/intoxiacation at 2650 10th Street.

Jason Bejamin Hogan, 896 Fifth Avenue, Marion, was charged April 20 with public consumption/intoxication at the 700 block of Seventh Avenue.

Bryan Leigh Herrold, 44, 119 Southview Drive, Marion, was charged April 22 with public consumption/intoxication, at 119 Southview Drive.
