Domestic Assault, OWI Drug Possession — Marion Police Blotter

Marion Police arrested the following between Oct. 25 to Nov. 1.:

Andrew Ray Harper, 27, Marion, was charged Oct., 25 with an OWI, third offense and driving with a suspended license at the 1300 block of Seventh Avenue.

David Joseph Overton, 34, 2951 Ninth Street, Marion, was charged Oct. 25 with fourth-degree theft, at 3111 10th Street.

Samuel James Philipp, 22, Marion, was charged Oct. 25 with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and was arrested on a previously outstanding arrest warrant, at the 1100 block of Seventh Avenue.

Brian Keith Harton, 44, 1360 11th Ave., Marion, was charged with Oct. 26 with driving with a suspended license, at the corner of Blairs Ferry Road and Marion Boulevard.

Christopher Russel West, 25, 1470 50th Street, Marion, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license and not providing proof of insurance, not accident related, at the corner of 12th Street and 5th Avenue.

Peter James Starefos, 3136 Sixth Street, Marion, was charged Oct. 27 with domestic assault causing serious injury/and or mental illness, at 3136 Fifth Avenue.
