The Sixth Judicial District Associate Judge Jane Spande set Huff’s cash-only bond at $125,000. The bond was set to such a large amount because of Huff's past run-ins with the law, according to the Gazette. He's been convicted for possession of controlled substance, in addition to two escape convictions.

The Des Moines man turned himself in for the shooting on Monday and is facing five charges: first-degree robbery, two counts of attempted murder and two counts of willful injury causing serious injury.

Police have yet to determine the cause of the shooting, according to the Gazette.

The three victims of the shooting are Shannon Gaskins, 21, Alexander White, 22, both from Cedar Rapids, and Raymond Sellers, 24, of Chicago. All three were in critical condition. Gaskins and White are expected to live, while there has not been an update on the Sellers.

Huff faces charges for the shooting of Gaskins and White. Police said Sellers was part of the same incident, but the Gazette is reporting that Sellers is not named in the criminal complaint against Huff.
