Marion Police Arrest 2 in 2 Hours for Separate Thefts at Walmart

The following information was provided by the Marion Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

Marion Police arrested two men for fifth-degree theft in separate incidents less than two hours apart.

Cole Michael Offerman, 19, Cedar Rapids and Deanjelo Devone Louis Dean, 20, were both arrested in the late afternoon of Oct. 21.

Dean was charged at 4:37 p.m., while Offerman was charged at 6:14 p.m.

Marion Police arrested the following between Oct. 12 to Oct. 24.:

Janet Marie Mellody, 52, 3325 25th Avenue, Marion, was charged Oct. 24 with an OWI, first offense, at the 3100 block of 25th Avenue.

Kristi Lea Spencer, 42, Hiawatha, was charged Oct. 24 with two counts of fifth-degree theft at the Marion Walmart.

Kyle Eugene Woodle, 36, 138 Cedar Drive, Marion, was arrested Oct. 23 on an outstanding arrest warrant, at 3495 Seventh Avenue.

James Michael Yarrington, 152 Cedar Drive, Marion, was charged Oct. 23 with driving with a suspended license, at the 300 block of Seventh Avenue.
