Marion Police Blotter: Teens Arrested for 2nd-Degree Theft, Other Charges

Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Two teens were arrested for second-degree theft at a Marion residence earlier this month.

Marion police charged William Ernest Charles Maker, 19, of 9 Ash Drive, and a 17-year-old Cedar Rapids boy on the theft charge the evening of Nov. 3. The same day, both received additional charges at Maker's residence.

Maker was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and the boy was charged with fifth-degree criminal mischief. Patch does not typically name minors arrested with crimes.

Barry James Allyn, 51, of 1830 Washington Ave. SE in Cedar Rapids, was arrested for public intoxication at 1:03 a.m. on Nov. 3 at 19 Chapelridge Circle.

David Lee Stackhouse, 53, of 296 Wroble Drive, was arrested for public intoxication at 1:32 p.m. on Nov. 3 at 330 10th Ave.

William Ernest Charles Maker, 19, of 9 Ash Drive, was arrested for second-degree theft at 365 Neta Drive and possession of drug paraphernalia at 9 Ash Drive at 6:03 p.m. on Nov. 3.

A 17-year-old from Cedar Rapids was arrested for second-degree theft at 365 Neta Drive and fifth-degree criminal mischief at 9 Ash Drive at 7:51 p.m. on Nov. 3.
