UPDATE: Des Moines Man Arrested in Connection With Student-Housing Shooting Near Kirkwood Campus

The Cedar Rapids Police have made an arrest in a case in which people were shot in an apartment complex near Kirkwood Community College on Friday.

A Des Moines man has been arrested in connection with a at a student-housing complex near Kirkwood Community College campus.

Three victims were sent to the hospital that day, although police can't confirm whether they were all connected to the same case. Their conditions remain unknown.

Cedar Rapids police arrested Teran Huff, 25, of, 1710 Oakland Road No. 5 in Des Moines, IA. He faces five charges, including robbery, two counts of attempted murder and two counts of willful injury.

Huff voluntarily came to the Cedar Rapids Police Department to speak with investigators who connected him to the case. Police still do not know the connection between Huff and the victims. The case remains under investigation.
