Obama Campaign Sets up Shop in Marion
The president's campaign, Barack Obama for America, just opened up an office a local office on 119 Marion Blvd.
Barack Obama's campaign has just arrived in Marion.
A Barack Obama for America campaign office opened Sunday near on 119 Marion Blvd. Staff and volunteers met with residents to talk about hot topics currently discussed in the campaign trail.
That office is among 28 campaign offices to open in and around Iowa Sunday. Other local offices opened up nearby, including a west Cedar Rapids location and one in Coralville.

Iowa is the first state in the nation for voters to cast their ballots for the re-election of President Obama on Sept. 27. For more information, go here.
Also, Obama has fallen behind presumed Republican nominee Mitt Romney, 44 to 46 percent, in a recent poll of likely Iowa voters.
