Rick Perry is Comin' to Town

Did you enjoy Rick Santorum's visit yesterday?

If you like his social conservative politics and candidates with the first name Rick, then you should enjoy a meet and greet with Rick Perry in Cedar Rapids on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.

But if you are a Republican, according to a recent poll, only 11 percent of you actually like Perry.

And if you are the state of Virginia, then you might be a little miffed at the Republican presidential candidate, as he just filed an emergency order in federal court for an injunction to get his name on the ballot.

According to the Associated Press, via the Des Moines Register, state law requires a petition of 10,000 signatures of registered voters, with 400 from each of its 11 congressional districts, which his campaign failed to do.

But still, if Perry is your man, this should be an interesting event, as it is listed as a meet and greet, so you could potentially ask him any question. If you are undecided, then this might be a good opportunity to meet a candidate face-to-face, if you haven't already.
