Iowa Goes to Obama, But Who Did Marion Vote For?

Just over 20,000 Marionites turned out for Tuesday's election, but who did they choose for president. We have a precinct-by-precinct look.

Marion voters got their man Tuesday night when just over half of residents who cast their ballot went for President Barack Obama.

Obama won Marion by a margin of 1,437 votes, according to data from the Linn County Auditor's office. This means the re-elected president received around 53 percent of the vote while Repubican candidate Mitt Romney earned about 45 percent.

Third party turnout was well below that.
