When Is The Next Presidential Debate?

The second presidential debate between President Barack Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney is Tuesday Oct. 16 at 8 p.m. The president will be in the Marion area the next day.

President Obama is coming to the Marion area on Wednesday. For those of you keeping track at home, that's the day after his next debate with Mitt Romney.

Iowans are still mulling their choices over. The most recent presidential polls in Iowa, averaged by The Huffington Post, show the president with about a 4-point lead over Romney.

Unlike Thursday's , Obama was roundly criticized for his first matchup with Romney.

If you want to tune in, the debate will be shown in Iowa by all the major television networks and cable news channels.

Moderator: Candy Crowley (CNN Chief Political Correspondent)

The second presidential debate will take the form of a town meeting, in which citizens will ask questions of the candidates on foreign and domestic issues. Candidates each will have two minutes to respond, and an additional minute for the moderator to facilitate a discussion. The town meeting participants will be undecided voters selected by the Gallup Organization.
