Linn-Mar ACT Info Released: Scores Rank Higher than State, National Numbers

76 percent of 2012 Linn-Mar graduates took the test.

From the Linn-Mar Community School District

Since 1959, ACT has collected and reported national, state and local data on students' academic readiness for college. The ACT consists of curriculum-based tests of educational development in English, mathematics, reading and science. Data released each year is reflective of the achievement of graduates and offers an indication on whether or not high school coursework prepared them with the skills needed for college-level work.

Scores for the 2013 Graduating Class were recently released, and Linn-Mar students once again surpassed both the State and National averages:

Total Tested –
Linn-Mar 303 (76% of graduates tested)
Iowa 22,526 (66% of graduates tested)
National 1,799,243
