We had a possible concern on Monday at Linn-Mar High School that has been addressed. The police are investigating and had an increased presence at LMHS as a precaution. Any details regarding the specific concern would be released by law enforcement. At this time we are back to business as usual and there is no longer an increased police presence on campus.

We ask parents take the time to talk to children about using communication devices responsibly. Students should stay away from passing on unsubstantiated rumors which can jeopardize school safety. If a student has information that something is going to happen, the student should contact an administrator or call 911 rather than text it to friends or share it on social media.
