Linn-Mar and Marion Independent Classes Cancelled Today. Marion Snow Closings and Cancellations as Announced.
Congrats Linn-Mar and Marion Independent students, you get the day off. More cancellation updates will be added during the day.
Update (6:05 a.m.): Kirkwood Community College is now closed until 5 p.m. (via KCRG's cancellations list) Decision pending on night classes.
Update (5:50 a.m.): Spoke too soon. Marion Independent is now cancelled as well today according to their website.
The Linn-Mar School District announced on its website at 5:25 a.m. this morning that school has been canceled today due to the impending winter storm, currently in progress.

Cedar Rapids schools also appear (via KCRG's cancellations list) to be closed, and the city of Cedar Rapids is currently in a snow emergency. Linn County Seats is currently offering no rural service today. There is no mention of Marion Independent Schools yet, so I will keep you posted.
