Photo Gallery: What do Marion's Students Want to Be When They Grow Up?

Marion High School hosted a career fair attended by hundreds of students. I asked them their future plans and took their photo

If you would have walked through 's auditorium last night, you would have waded through hundreds of students and parents from local schools.

They were weaving around booths. Some booths were advertising colleges and others were of local employers. The students were all trying to get closer to an answer for that difficult question: What are you going to do when you grow up?

Some, like 17-year-old Marion High School junior Nick Navannatta said they simply don't know yet. They may feel pressure to decide their career right now, but it is a big desicion, so it can take some time.

But many in attendence had very specific answers to the inquisition. For example, Marion High School junior Aaron Woodwick, 17, and 17-year-old l junior Katie Fortner, plan to pursue dentistry and anesthesiology, respectively.

I photographed many in attendence last night. Click on their pictures above to see where they go to school and what their plans are.
