NCAA Women's Basketball: Marion Natives Square Off: Jaime Printy and Iowa Take Down Morgan Paige and Wisconsin at Carver-Hawkeye Arena

Iowa came out on top of the Wisconsin Badgers in the Big Ten battle.

It was a Marion homecoming of sorts at Carver-Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City on Thursday night when the Iowa Hawkeyes took on the Wisconsin Badgers.

Iowa women's basketball standout Jaime Printy is a Linn-Mar alumnus. Morgan Paige, who attended Marion, was a highly recruited basketball star when she signed with the Wisconsin Badgers.

And, of course Iowa women's basketball coach Lisa Bluder is also from Marion.

Printy lead the Hawkeyes to a 71-60 win. Jaime Printy scored 29 points, had eight rebounds and connected on 10 of 11 free through attempts. Printy also scored 14 in a row late in the game to put the game away.

Paige scored 14 points for Wisconsin in the loss.

Lot's of family were among 3,894 in attendance.

Iowa improved to a 15-5 record, while Wisconsin fell to 9-11.
