A Warm and Mostly Sunny Fall Week Ahead: This Week in Marion Weather

It may be October this week, but that doesn't mean it's going to get all cold and dreary on us quite yet. (That comes next week)

Nice weather awaits us this week, for the most part.

The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities predicts high temperatures in the high 70s and mid 80s in the beginning of the week, with sunny skies. Then it may cool down and add a chance of rain as the weekend approaches.

Here is the forecast for this week:

  • Monday Sunny, with a high near 77. South wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
  • Monday Night Mostly clear, with a low around 55. Southwest wind around 10 mph.
  • Tuesday Sunny, with a high near 82.
  • Tuesday Night Mostly clear, with a low around 53.
  • Wednesday Sunny, with a high near 82.
  • Wednesday Night A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 62.
  • Thursday A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 77.
  • Thursday Night A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 57.
  • Friday A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 67.
  • Friday Night A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 46.

Enjoy the warmth, however, as next week could bring highs in the 60s according to the Weather Underground 10-day forecast.
