Which Marion Boutique Did You Choose?

For the last two weeks, we've been taking in your suggestions and votes for the best boutique in Marion. This is your choice.

We've been collecting your opinion on a wide range of topics, from hair salons to bars, and you never fail to chose truly interesting locales. This time, we asked you about your favorite boutique in Marion. We let you choose between Domicile, Rags to Riches Consignment, Purse ~N~ ality, Joy and Happenstance on Seventh, and you chose... Rags to Riches Consignment. If you haven't been, Rags to Riches Consignment is a boutique off Seventh Avenue in Marion. They have a large shop with a wide variety of gently used women's clothing and accessories. Reviving Marion's Uptown One Store at a Time

A week ago I went to Ramsey's Metro Market to pick up a bottle of chocolate mint red wine for my girlfriend.  I chatted with the owner, Conrad Ramsey, about his inspiration for the store (wine and cheese bars in Galena, IL) and his motivation for starting it. As a full time employee for Rockwell Collins, he isn't so strapped for cash he needed a second job. He said the reason he started the store a few months ago was because, well, he always wanted to own a business and he always wanted Marion to have a more metropolitan feel.
