Marion Man Taken to Hospital After Crashing Harley Davidson Motorcycle

Robert Pelletier, 59, of Marion, lost control of his motorcycle and crashed. He was taken to Mercy Hospital by ambulance with serious injuries.

A Marion man was taken to the hospital after crashing his Harley Davidson motorcycle on to the highway on Friday afternoon.

Robert Pelletier, 59, of Marion, lost control of his motorcycle and crashed. He was taken to Mercy Hospital by ambulance with serious injuries. He was wearing a helmet. 

Pelletier was heading south on Highway 13 when he lost control and crashed near Vernon Valley Drive. The crash occurred at about 3:30 p.m. on Friday.

Linn County Sheriff’s Deputies, Linn County Sheriff’s Rescue, Marion Police Department, Bertram Fire Department, and Area Ambulance responded
to the motorcycle crash.

The crash is still under investigation by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office and the Marion Police Department.
